Albon: "Russell made me pay for dinner after Monaco!"

In the race in Monaco, Alex Albon stayed ahead of George Russell for a long time and managed to keep the Mercedes driver behind him.

This situation got on Russell's nerves, he gained time by cutting the Nouvelle Chicane and was given a pit pass penalty.

After the race, Russell said he would make Albon pay for the race with his dinner bill.

Speaking to the media ahead of the Spanish Grand Prix, Albon explained what happened at that dinner: "He actually ordered the most expensive thing on the menu!"

"He ordered lobster pasta but didn't get dessert, so it balanced out a little bit. But it was a good night, it was fun."

"Yes, I paid the bill, and I should have. That race was really awful. For us at least it meant something, but for the others, especially George and Carlos, it was even worse."
